Wordless Wednesday

With so much going on.... I am having a hard time staying up on blogging and I hate it, because I really enjoy the time I take for myself and to write down my thoughts.  So for now, I am leaving you with a pic of my precious Lily.  She got a bath and haircut this week... she was in desperate need since her spaying!

My blog redesign will hopefully be completed by this weekend.  Super excited for the change and something more fun and ME!

PhotoADay for March

I have seen this idea of PhotoADay floating around in the blogging world and with all the great photos I am seeing.... I have decided to participate.  I am super excited about this!  The PhotoADay templates are predesigned by (fatmumslim) over at Instagram.  The template gives you daily guide for the month and what to try and capture for that day.  It is an awesome way to capture those precious things in life and then saving those memories by documenting them with photos.  I think this project will be a great addition to my Project Life album.  Not sure how I am going to incorporate it yet, but prolly with collages and an insert at the end of the month... I plan to play this one by ear. 

March's PhotoADay template has already been posted and I am already thinking of great photo opportunities for each day!  Are you doing PhotoADay??  If not, here is the template if you want to give it a shot.... Can't wait to show you what I come up with!

Project Life Tuesday: 2012: Week 7

Life has definately got a hold of me and I am sad that this is my first week of not linking up and having my Project Life Post ready on Tuesday.  Was majorly bummed... but hey, that's come and gone.  I still checked out The Mom Creative and saw lots of great posts and layouts.  Even though I didn't have my layout done in time to post yesterday, it is done now and I am excited to share.  I am back on track and will be back to linking up next Tuesday.

FYI- My pics didn't turn out that good, but I didn't feel like re-taking them.  Oh well!

As you can see missed a few pics again this week.  But I was able to fill them with fun inserts and add ins that I have found from other Project Life layouts.  I love the "Currently journaling card" I made.... gives a great snapshot of life right here and now what you are enjoying, thinking, and living in every day life.  The other was "week in review."  I did this last week and loved it.  Definately think it is a great way to document all the fun and important things that happened that week that was mentioned or if it was you can elaborate.

Wheewwww, glad that is behind me.  Feeling behind is something I DO NOT like.  So now that the layout is complete and it's posted here.....I can focus and move on to this week.

Life... It happens

So I have been MIA lately in a lot of areas and my blogging is definately one of them.  The past 2 weeks have just been a whirlwind.  School is keeping me extremely busy and when I have some down time, I chosing to spend it with my hubby, Lily, and my family.  I've thought about blogging and wanted to, but I had to chose my priorities wisely! 

But, boy have I missed blogging and reading all my lovely friends posts.  I hope that things start to slow down so I can find some time to enjoy the blogger world.  I know I'm not going to be able to post every night, but my goal is 3-4 times a week. Let's see if I can make it happen!

Couple new things that have happened over the past week.
1.  Project Life stock arrived at Amazon!!!  Ahh, I felt like a kid at Christmas. I placed a huge order and so glad I did because everything is SOLD OUT again.  The items have shipped and should be here any day.
2.  Yes, today was the first week I missed out posting my Project Life Tuesday.  Disappointed, but thats here nor there.  I am working on the layout tonight so I won't be behind!
3.  We have found new flooring for the house.  It is going to take a few weeks to get the supplies and ball rolling, but I am so excited.  Can't wait to share before and after pics with everyone.
4.  Lily got spayed,  Patrick was sick so he got to stay home with her a few days.  When he went back, she went do doggie day care.  And today we woke up and all stitches were out.  Don't know how it happened, she slept with us all night and was still... and we woke up to a dog with no stitches or skin tears where the stitches were.  My mother-in-law says she must be  Houdini Jr.!  
5.  I am in the process of re-designing my blog.  This is another thing that I am just soo excited about.  I have found a great person to work with and I think it is going to be great.  I will share more info on this later. 
6.  We celebrated my Papaw's 83 Birthday!  It is always a blast when all the Thompson family is together. 
7.  My mom, sister-in-law, and I went to see Pat's cousins new home in Etown.  The house is so beautiful.  The home is over 100 years old and is on a historic street in Etown.

Can you believe that February is almost here and gone.  March is right around the corner... that is just crazy!  I'm not complaining... I can't wait for all the sunshine and for Spring to get here.  These gloomy cold nights have got to go.

T.G.I.F

Well Friday finally came and I was never so happy to see it come!  I welcomed it with open arms!  And due to the crappy week, I played hookie today and stayed home.  No sleep, lots on my mind, a filthy house, and loads of school stuff has left me exhasuted. 

Since I played hookie, I was able to sleep in a little and got lots of stuff done around the house.  And I even got school work done, took Lily for a walk, and watched 2 of my DVR'd shows while doing online posts.

Tonight we had dinner with my mother-in-law, brother-in-law and sis-in-law and our 2 nephews.  We had dinner at Cracker Barrel to celebrate my sis-in-laws bday, even though it was way back in December!!  I feel so lucky to have such great family on Patrick's side.  Patrick and I are super close to his only brother, his wife, and 2 boys.  We do so much and have so much fun together and I wouldn't have it any other way!!  I can't wait to start having kids of our own so the little ones can grow up, play, and be close to their cousins (our sweet nephews).

We have a pretty low key weekend and I am pretty thankful for that.  Just need some down time with my hunny!  And to get things back in order around this house.  We had our house professional cleaned last week, but it has gotten so dirty with all the little things everywhere.  Luckily, the cleaners come every 2 weeks, but I can't wait until then.  A clean house does the mind good!!

Is it Friday yet????????

I don't hate a lot of things.... BUT I hate this week.  It has been awful :o(

I have not gotten anymore than 4 hours of sleep every night this week, I have not gotten home to my hubby and puppy until at least 7pm every night, and way more BEYOND what you even care about.  I need sleep, time with my fam, and ME time.


Enough complaining.... but PLEASE Friday, you really can't come soon enough this week.

Project Life Tuesday: 2012: Week 6

Happy Valentines's Day to my hubby, family, friends, and all my blogger friends. Today is one of my favorite days of the year!

Well..... I may have bragged too soon.  This week wasn't so good in the photography area.  I didn't take ANY pictures 2 days this past week.  Ugh, sigh!!!!!!!!

I don't want to be to hard on myself, but darn it!!  We didn't have that exciting of a week, so I guess it's ok.  I didn't miss much.  But I am back at this week and determined to not let this happen again... for awhile that is! 

Since I missed 2 days worth of pics I was able to add a little creativity and a few extras in my layout this week.  And I even included a journaling card with highlights from the week... I  have been wanting to incorporate one of these for awhile now.  So thats a plus!!

Happy Tuesday!!  Any and all suggestions for fillers to add for "when" I foget to take pics would be great.  I have several in mind, but really want to keep the layouts fun when I forget to take pics.

I am sooo ready for the Becky Higgins products to come back in stock... I check her site and Amazon daily like a stalker :o)
