A first leads to an obsession

Finally... my last semester of school starts Thursday so I am craming in as much "me" time the next few days as I possibly can.  I have had a gift card for a 1-hour massage since Patrick and I got married. And yes, that was well over a year ago.  I just have not taken the time to go.

So today was the day.  Instead of a massage, I opted for my first ever facial.  And let me tell you, I am obsessed.  It was the most relaxing expirence and my face feels like it's glowing.  I can't believe I have been missing out on such a wonderful 1 hour of pure bliss.  And being the sucker that I am, I signed up to by a member at the spa.  That means that I will be getting a facial MONTHLY for the next year.  I am super excited.  I felt so great after that I even bought their cleanser, eye cream, mosturizer, and exfoliator.... ahhhhh!!!

I knew the hubs wasn't going to be to thrilled about how much I spent, so when I returned home I was prepared.  I made a quick stop at JD Becker on the way home, got the UK shirt he has been wanting (like he even needs another) and all went well!!  Haha!!

Was I the only one missing out..... have you ever had a facial??  If not, you better schedule yours ASAP, I can promise you won't be disappointed.

How fun! I've never had a facial - where did you go? LOVE how you distracted Patrick with a new shirt! :) Enjoy your final few days before school begins again.

I laughed out loud at this post!! Oh Pat and his UK obsession...now that's a post in itself!! I am not a massage person, but if I had to get one I would probably get a facial!! I don't like people touching me and if i got a facial I would probably be worried my breath stunk or something lol!!

I'm not a sly person, but I knew the shirt would distract him. I went to massage envy in middletown, highly recommend it. Nice place and sweet people.

Christy, I am not much on people touching me, but you would LOVE this. My skin has never looked better. Amazing to see results!

Hey Abby,
Thanks for stopping by my blog. :) Glad the facial was worth the wait. I've only had one (i was too preggo to get a full massage and it was a girls day...so I was NOT about to miss out). I'm one of those weirdos that LOVES massages...don't really care who is rubbing me down, as long as my kids are no where in sight! :)
